How the rankings work — eligibility, results and corrections
Eligibility: senior men’s tackle clubs with at least two verified, scored matches are eligible for the statistical comparison. Clubs from different state leagues are evaluated using league-specific context.
The statistical 60% considers smoothed win rate (40% of the statistical component), capped adjusted scoring margin (30%), adjusted opponent win percentage (20%) and quality victories (10%). The remaining 40% is independent editorial assessment.
A confirmed forfeit may count in win–loss records without an invented scoring margin. Incomplete or disputed results are not assigned fabricated scores. Cross-league ratings are comparisons, not predictions of head-to-head outcomes.
AGN reviews new verified results and confirmed corrections before updating the published rankings. Changes are not automatic; the current edition date is shown above.
Clubs and competition representatives can submit verified corrections through AGN’s contact channel. Please include an official results or competition source.
AGN Power 10 is an independent editorial ranking, not a national championship or an official American Football Australia ranking. Clubs compete in different state leagues and rarely meet across borders; scores should be read as comparative ratings, not predictions of head-to-head results.
