AGN is an Australian-first home for American football — connecting the NFL, college game, Australians Abroad, the domestic game, flag football and the stories that matter here.

Most major American football coverage is built for a US audience. AGN starts with a different question: what is useful, interesting or important to an Australian fan?

That means we cover the biggest NFL and college stories, but we put extra weight on the areas where an Australian publication can add something distinctive — Australians playing overseas, local clubs and competitions, Australian viewing information, flag football, pathways, explainers and original analysis.

How we work

AGN uses a verification-first editorial process. We prefer primary and official sources, distinguish verified information from developing leads, and correct errors transparently. Local Australian competition data is only presented as current when it has been checked.

Community information matters too. Clubs, players, families and fans can send scores, fixture changes, player leads, corrections, photos and story tips through our submission form. AGN reviews submissions before publication.
